Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen still feels he can make a comeback to the England side. Pietersen has been sidelined by the ECB since the Ashes last year. He was thrown out of the squad after allegedly “being disconnected” with the team. He is the highest run getter for England in tests, ODIs and t20Is combined. However, his form over the last few months has been questionable. He could not do well for the Delhi Daredevils in this year’s IPL as well. Pietersen is part of the MCC exhibition match to be played tomorrow along with legends like Tendulkar, Warne, Dravid and Lara.

He tweeted, “My space reserved in the Lord’s dressing room. Clothes ready! So excited about tomorrow. I didn’t think I’d have this opportunity to play in front of a full house at Lord’s again. I still do hope that things change and I play for England here again. Time will tell….”

England fans will be hoping that Pietersen can make a comeback, especially because their team is not in good form and lost to Sri Lanka recently.
