Dwayne Bravo grabbed MS Dhoni's collar.

India have won their warm-up match against West Indies in Eden Gardens on Thursday ended in comfortable 45 run victory, there was one moment right after the match that shocked everyone’s breath away in fear though for a few seconds only.

As the players of the two teams shook each others’ hands after the match, Dwayne Bravo grabbed the collar of MS Dhoni, for a minute it looked like that he was attacking MS Dhoni, the Indian captain. The 25000 fans fell silent, shocked at what they were seeing.

Fear also reflected on Dhoni’s face in surprise, taken aback at the departure from the usual shake of the hand that the other Windies players offering him.

However, later it was learnt that Bravo, who is long time teammate of MS Dhoni at Chennai Super Kings, was only having some fun. Dhoni, once he recovered from the shock of the moment, also laughed along, though his smile was not as broad as Bravo’s.

They also shook hands, as the relieved crowd laughed along. What had seemed like an angry confrontation was only a hearty banter between two very close friends.

Since the match, India have travelled to play their last warm-up match against South Africa in Mumbai, while West Indies have set up base in Kolkata.
