With Jagmohan Dalmiya again taking up the reins of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) , The Cricket Association of Bengal(CAB) hoped to host the 2016 World Twenty20 final at Eden Gardens (Kolkata).

One of the CAB officials quoted that due to petty politics going around Eden , it was intentionally targeted and even after having world class facilities , it was being deprived of many international matches , but as now Dalmaiya is back at the helm of BCCI they are hoping to get more matches.

To this he also added that they are expecting to get big matches of the World Twenty20 including the finals of the same. Meanwhile, former India captain and CAB joint secretary Sourav Ganguly also expressed his happiness over Machiavelli of Indian cricket again becoming the president of BCCI.

Ganguly said that Dalmaiya knows things better than anybody else and so also that Dalmaiya will probably do all the right things and will fulfil everyone’s expectation. But when the former skipper was questioned about rumors of him becoming the head of BCCI technical committee , he chose to remain tight-lipped and just said that he has to wait and see when the opportunity comes.
