Continuing his fine form with the bat Ravichandran Ashwin has scored his second century in the four-match series against West Indies during the third Test at St Lucia. Ashwin, who scored 113 in the first Test at Antigua, came to the pitch when the team was in a spot of bother after losing 4 wickets for only 87 runs. India’s problems increased when they lost in-form batsman Ajinkya Rahane with only 126 runs on the board. With half the team already in pavilion, things were not looking too bright for the Indian camp but then a 108 runs partnership between Ashwin and Wriddhiman Saha helped the team to finish the day one on 234 without losing anymore wicket. Resuming the second day, both the batsmen looked comfortable and reached personal milestones. While Saha scored his maiden Test hundred, Ashwin reached his fourth Test hundred.
