The interim president of BCCI-IPL Sunil Gavaskar, appointed by the Supreme Court, has assured that he was looking over the request of Aditya Verma, the Secretary of Bihar Cricket Association (CAB). Aditya has wanted Indian Premier League COO Sundar Raman to carry away his post as he is getting accused of being immersed in corruption outrage.

“I’m taken hold the issue and figuring out all the information that I am getting.” Aditya stated Gavaskar as a reply to the CAB’s official’s letter to the former Indian skipper. He requested him to step into action against Raman.

Verma lodged a PIL against Raman in order to prevent him from getting involved in the IPL committee. The Bombay High Court gave a verdict, saying that the committee, which was consisted two members from the BCCI to investigate the corruption outrage was unconstitutional and Raman was involved in conveying the information of the inside for betting purposes in the Twenty20 tournament last year.

“I had also specified about the hard copy given by the Mumbai Police to the Mudgal Committee signifying the role of Sundar Raman in conveying insider information which apparently bailed out and incited betting in the last season of IPL.” Verma clearly mentioned in his letter to Gavaskar.

He also staked out, “The said discussion composed part of Annexure-15 to the report lodged by Mudgal Committee with reference to head off of 15th May, 2013 between Jaipur based bookie Pawan and Vindoo Dara Singh showing that Sundar Raman gave tip to Gurunath Meiyappan which was being shared by Vindoo Dara Singh to bookie Pawan.”
