Just before the last encounter of the tour, a T20 against England today, team India players have got the reward of their winning the ODI series, as many of our players have fortified their position in ICC ODI rankings. As South Africa defeated Australia in the tri-series, India is still holding their number one position in ICC ODI rankings. Virat Kohli is still holding the number 4 position (after suffering a loss of one place) among top 10 batsmen, whereas Ravindra Jadeja has maintained his 5th position among top 10 bowlers.

Apart from the above, Jadeja is also appearing at number 3 position in the category of all-rounders. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has improved his position by 8 positions and he is now holding 14th place in the bowlers rankings. Likewise, Shami Ahmed has also gained a benefit of 10 points and now he is standing at 21st place in the rankings.

Captain MS Dhoni is still in his earlier position of number 6, whereas Shikhar Dhawan – after improving his place by 3 steps – has reached at 7th position in the batsmen ranking.

However, the injured Rohit Sharma has lost his position by dropping to number 25 from number 23. Bowler Umesh Yadav has also incurred a loss as he has been dropped to number 82 in comparison to his earlier place at 78.

Man of the series Suresh Raina who had scored 160 runs has gained 7 places and he has now reached at 19th position.
