England all-rounder Moeen Ali said that batting belligerently is the only way he knows it is possible has stated that his squad needs to put an early marker down which is different from a side that suffered humiliation by Australia in the Ashes last summer.
Australia might have controlled England in the Ashes last summer but they know that the English allrounder, Moeen Ali will create a big threat to their team, who were at best awkward when facing Pakistani team in the United Arab Emirates who were without banned Saeed Ajmal.
The Daily Telegraph reported that Moeen Ali, who admires Pakistan’s ‘doosra’ king Ajmal, states that ‘doosra’ is not just the only weapon he has got, insisting that his bowling action is legitimate, but his positive, aggressive batting would also prove to be controlling against Australia as he has become England’s new opening batsman.
Moeen Ali, who is known as ‘The Beard that’s Feared’ in his home county of Worcestershire, said that it is a opportunity to demonstrate that England has taken a step forward and they are going to have aim and come harder at Australia than they have done previously.
Moeen Ali also added that if they are going to win the International Cricket Council World Cup they need guys in the top three who can set the standard for everybody else and be extensive and take some risks, stating that he certainly feels he can get better.
