Dale Steyn who was at the wrong end of the classic encounter between South Africa and New Zealand when Elliot took him for 13 runs in the last over expressed his desire not to think about that game and that he still has a lot of cricket left in him.

Steyn who said that the World Cup which is over has no bearing on his mind and that when he runs in he always thinks about picking a wicket and that if he starts thinking about containing runs, he might end up giving a boundary. When asked about IPL being batsmen friendly, Steyn said that with the batsmen trying to hit you every ball it is upto the bowler to show his aggressiveness and be at the batsmen’s face every minute of the game.

Steyn who will turn 32 said that he is still one of the fittest in the Proteas camp added that he will play till his body tells him not to. He also added that it was not important to say something ugly to a batsmen when sledging and s that all the matters was you presence on the field.

Steyn who admitted that he has not many years of cricket left said that he was starting to take the game not too seriously and that loving his life was his motto.
