Harsh Goenka, brother of Rising Pune Supergiant owner Sanjeev Goenka was at it again, as the business tycoon apparently taunted former Indian skipper and Pune wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni on social media.
Barely a couple of days after mocking Dhoni by justifying the decision to axe him from captaincy and replacing the 2011 World Cup winning captain with Steven Smith, Goenka took a dig at Dhoni again.
Minutes after the Supergiant lost to the Kings XI Punjab in Indore, Goenka posted a stat which depicted the overall aggregate figures of the batsmen of his franchise.
Through his tweet, one can easily comprehend the true intention of the message being mentioned as he wrote, “#RPS batting statistics until now – Manoj Tiwari, Rahane, Christian have the best strike rates.”
Despite knowing that the team has played just two games and Dhoni hasn’t been at his best, the businessman was in no mood to display any courtesy and went on to breach all limits of openly mocking a national hero.
It wouldn’t be too complicated for any person to understand that Goenka has certainly some friction with Dhoni with his series of tweets.
Being the champion Dhoni is though, one can expect the legendary Indian wicketkeeper-batsman to be at his best and answer all his critics in some style.
Among those critics, Dhoni would surely want to have a go at Goenka too, but not with his words or Tweets, but with the willow in his hand.
Some Dhoni fans didn’t take the message lightly and were scathing towards Goenka. Below are some of the Twitter reactions.
