After 5 consecutive win and after defeating the South Indian stars, CSK in the last match, KKR will face RCB in the next match, who are currently in the 5th position in the league table and struggling for their way to playoffs.
KKR, in this year is playing very well , in few matches back their form was dropped and they lost few matches in a row but they their bad time has gone and now they are in top form and in their best and have won last 5 matches. They have good batting strength as their key player, Robin Uthappa is playing consistently well in all matches and have score 40+ in last 5 matches, which has set the pillar for their batting and their skipper Gautam Gambhir is also is in form now and playing very well. The opening partnership for KKR has been winning games for them for the past few matches. Alongwith this two batting giants they have Sakib Al Hasan , Manish Pandey and Ryan Doeschate in their batting support. Manish pandey is playing well as a uncapped player and has been involved in several match winning partnerships. With this strong batting line up and strength they also have also have strong bowling strength in the likes of Sunile Narine , one of best spinner of IPL , Morne Morkel and with this two there are Sakib Al Hasan,Piyush Chawla and Umesh Yadav, who are strengthening their bowling side. We can say by this that they have good chance in the next match.
As of RCB they are in a pretty bad position as they have very narrow chance to make their way to playoffs. They have lost their last match against SRH which has put most of their hopes for qualification in vain. This year they had big names like Chris Gayle, AB De Villiers, Virat Kohli , Yuvraj Shing but they have not clicked in majority of the occasions which led to the sorrow for theteam..AB De Villiers and Yuvraj Singh have played very well in some matches but their bowling side have shown pure inconsistency and they have lost many matches even with huge totals. As of their bowling side, they have Mitchel Starc as one of their star bowler, who was to be assisted in the likes of speedster from India, Varun Aaron. The bowling side is a disaster for RCB but some of their bowlers like Yuzvendra Chahal has come up with golden colours and bowled exceptionally well according to their level but that’s not good enough to bring the team the very wanted victory. Many good innings played by AB De Villiers, Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli have been wasted for the bowling. They were unable to defend 65 runs in 4 overs in their match against RR and that loss proved to be the turning point for them in the tournament. They are hoping to win the next match against KKR as this is their last chance to stay on the race of the playoffs. They must win both of their games and after that they shall have to rely upon some ‘Ifs and Buts’ to make their way into the play-offs.
This match is very much important for both the teams, KKR in a good position and they only need one win from their two remaining home matches to seal their name in the playoffs, so a win in this match can bring it to them but as for RCB they are in a bad position as they need a win from each of the next two matches with a margin high enough to overtake the NET RUN RATE of KKR. Then they can go to playoffs but we all can see that the chance is slight and it’s only a theoretical analysis of their chance. Wish luck to both the teams for the match.
