While KXIP have already qualified, DD are now out of the race. Chennai Super Kings still have to play 3 more matches of which they need one win to qualify for the play-offs. They would play KKR, SRH and RCB in the next 3 matches and all those 3 teams are in need of desperate win if they would want to qualify for the play-offs.

RR has just got 2 matches up their sleeves, which are against KXIP and MI. They would want to win them both to qualify with ease, otherwise their positive run rate might come to their rescue.

KKR face CSK, RCB and RCB and they need to win all 3 so that they qualify with ease. If they end up winning just two then the net run rate could play the role of the decider.

RCB would face SRH, KKR, CSK in their last 3 matches. They are in desperate need to winn all 3 as that is the best way for them to qualify.

MI and SRH are both tied on 8 wins each. They would face KXIP, DD, RR and RCB, CSK, KKR respectively. Even if these two teams win all 3 of their matches. Their fate would also depend on the results of other matches, which would determine their qualification.

Looking at the form of teams the three teams that would make it to the play-offs and join KXIP are CSK, RR and KKR.
