Kamran Akmal is a funny character without second thoughts. Akmal, the now discarded Pakistani wicketkeeper is often witnessed as the butt of all the jokes and trolls on social media. The talented wicketkeeper batsman is currently participating in the Bangladesh Premier League. Right from dropping catches with a poor technique to getting run out in the most bizarre of ways, Akmal has everything credited to his name.

In his recent outing for the Chittagong Vikings in BPL, Akmal was run out in probably the laziest of ways. On a full length delivery from Mohammad Sami, Akmal gently placed the ball towards mid on. Kevon Cooper, the fielder stationed at mid on, hit the bull’s eye as he dislodged the bails with his direct hit.

At first, the commentators thought Akmal to be safe, but the players were busy celebrating. It was then seen that Akmal had taken the run a bit too casually. While running towards the danger end, Akmal slowed down a bit towards the end. Not just that, Akmal also did not ground his bat, and kept it hanging above the ground. The hit was enough to give Akmal his marching orders.

It was a display of lazy running and below is the video of the run out.
