Narayanswami Srinivasan who is the International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman and owner of India Cements poured India Cements benefaction to cricket in India and was extravagant in his comment for India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Dhoni has drawn a lot of criticism for his international record. Chennai Super Kings is owned by India Cements . Narayanswami Srinivasan is the managing director of this company. Srinivasan attracted lot of attention from the press come his way during his incumbency as The Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) president about India Cements association with Indian cricket. Mahendra Singh Dhoni continuing as captain even after defeats in England and Australia in the 2011/12 season was another decision that enticed debate.

Narayanswami Srinivasan focused light on how many cricketers had exploited from associating with India Cements in an interview with a renowned Bengali daily. India Cements has contributed a lot for cricket. India Cements has engaged many cricketers. The whole Tamilnadu team sometimes back was a portion of India Cements. There are still players who play in the leagues in Tamilnadu who are connected with India Cements, Srinivasan added.

Srinivasan was all eulogize for Mahendra Singh Dhoni in an interview with a renowned Bengali daily. Srinivasan said Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a phenomenon. He is one of the greatest cricketers he has ever seen. He is proud to be associated with him. He has won almost every major tournament be it the T20 World Cup 2007, the ICC World Cup 2011 or the ICC Champions Trophy 2013, Srinivasan said.
