Trinamool Congress’ (TMC) firebrand president Mamata Banerjee, who is also West Bengal chief minister, has responded to allegations of her involved Saradha scam following reports in Bangla media over an alleged “DEAL” between Saradha company and IRCTC while she was serving as THE Union railways minister under UPA 2.

Mamata Banerjee while trying to save herself and her party Trinamool Congress when media asked her to responded that on Saradha SCAM. But in trying to defend her party she also dragged India’s former cricketers Sachin Tendulakar and Sourav Ganguly in what, at best, seemed a bizarre analogy made by ex-Railway’s minister.

She literally dragged players like Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly in Sahara, which is owned buy Subroto Roy, case.

No one can damage the stature of All India Trinamul Congress. The Sahara group has sponsored the Indian cricket team, even Sourav [Ganguly] and Sachin [Tendulkar] played. Should Sourav, Sachin, [Sunil] Gavaskar not be blamed?” Mamata screamed, as she was at her usual self, during an interview to ETV News Bangla which is a local Bangla channel.

Meanwhile, scam has claimed its first casualty in form of Trinamool MP Kunal Ghosh who is currently in judicial custody for interrogation, and has also been suspended by his part – TMC. Gosh, on the other hand, had demanded that all the top leaders of TMC should be interrogated as all are involved, but Mamata rubbishes Ghosh instead retorting back at Ghosh subbing him as an accused locked in jail and he is merely attempting to SAVE himself.  This scam has seen the names like Mithun Chakraborty also come to surface, as turbulent times in West Bengal politics begin.
