There is no denying the fact that reaching the top of the Test ranking is an incredible achievement and it becomes all more special when the team has been playing their cricket matches at neutral venues from the last seven years. Yes, you guessed it right. We are talking about Pakistan’s achievement.
Pakistan had moved to No. 2 on the table last week, after drawing the Test series in England 2-2 and after Australia were whitewashed 3-0 in Sri Lanka. At the same time, India had moved to No. 1 after beating West Indies in the St Lucia Test to go 2-0 up in their four-match series. However, they needed to win the final Test, in Trinidad, to hold on to No. 1, but the match was drawn after weather and outfield issues forced play to be abandoned and the Indian team was replaced by their arch rivals on the top of the rankings.
Meanwhile, some Pakistani fans took to Twitter to make fun of Indian skipper Virat Kohli after their team’s achievement.
Here are some of those humiliating tweets:

"India doesnt play Pakistan because they are scared of losing. Pakistan is NOT scared of losing, they are scared of NOT playing" #No1TestTeam

Well, we really appreciate their team’s achievement but it is really shameful that fans of a country where cricket has a rich heritage are behaving in such a manner.
