Today was the 7th match of the Big Bash League 2014-15. We have seen some great performances today. Michael Klinger and Marcus Harris from Perth Scorchers scored a century and half century respectively. The Perth Scorchers were dominant throughout the match. They gave Melbourne Renegades a target of 193 runs to win. But the Melbourne Renegades performed poorly both in batting and bowling and it was an easy win for the Perth Scorchers. Hits of the Day

1. Michael Klinger

Michael Klinger played from the start to the end and was not out. He scored a century today. He was unbeatable today. He had scored 105 runs from just 60 balls with a ferocious strike rate of 175. He hit 7 boundaries and 4 sixes.

2. Marcus Harris

Marcus Harris opened the batting with Michael Klinger. Both dominated the match from the beginning. He scored a half century and both of them scored 103 runs in partnership. Harris scored 53 runs in 39 balls with a strike rate of 135.9 and hit 5 boundaries and a single six.

3. Jason Behrendorff

Jason Behrendorff kept the dominance on the Melbourne Renegades with his bowling from the start of the innings. He bowled incredibly and took 2 wickets and gave away just 16 runs in his 4 over spell. He had the lowest economy rate of 4.

4. Ashton Agar

Ashton Agar was another great bowler from the Perth Scorchers side. He too bowled well and picked up 2 wickets. He bowled 3 overs and gave away 22 runs.

Flops of the Day                    

1. Dwayne Bravo

Dwayne Bravo’s bowling proved disastrous for the Melbourne Renegades. He bowled 4 overs and gave away 48 runs with an economy of 12. He was the most expensive bowler. Although he picked up a wicket, but the damage was already done and Perth suffered.

2. Andrew Fekete

Just like Bravo, Andrew Fekete also showed some poor game. He gave away 41 runs in his 4 overs spell. With an economy of 10.2 he was the 2nd most expensive bowler. He too managed to take a wicket but his wicket came at the last over when the damage was already done.

3. Aaron Finch

The skipper, Aaron Finch, was unable to carry his team towards a victory. He didn’t show some magic and was able to score only 15 runs. He was bowled by Ashton Agar in the 7th over.

4. Matthew Wade

Matthew Wade too was disappointing for the Melbourne Renegades. He scored only 14 runs today. He and Finch were responsible for the slow start of the game and unfortunately no one in the batting order was able to do some magic.
