National Ranji Trophy Cricket tournament 2015 had provided a result on the second day only, as national team discard Ravindra Jadeja had toppled twice Jharkhand taking a total of 13 wickets.  Day 3 on 10th October 2015 also saw a result in Baroda beating Railways by an innings and 113 runs. The progress indicates that there is a likelihood of outright victories for Assam, Mumbai and Himachal Pradesh and rest of the matches will be decided on the first innings lead. 

Looking at individual performances, in batting Assam batsmen Arun Karthick (151), Shreyas Gopal  (139) Shisir Bhavane (119) for Karnataka  Poddar (100) for Odisha,  Aditya Tare of Mumbai remained not out on 137, and Gangata of HP scored a magnificent (181) scored centuries.

Top bowling performances of the day include, a 6 wicket haul of Mundhe 62 runs for Maharashtra against Odisha, Monish of Kerala took 6 for 91 against Hyderabad.Ajay Singh picking 5 wickets for Rajasthan against Assam. Anureet Singh of Railways picked 5 wickets for 111 runs and Wakahre  4 wickets for 112 runs for Vidarbha against Delhi.
