Suspended Pakistan spinner Saeed Ajmal made a decent return to the competitive cricket, with a revamped action, as he picked up a wicket and gave away only 23 runs in his quota of 6 overs while playing for Pakistan A against Kenya (in the 4th ODI).

Kenya is currently playing a five-match ODI series against Pakistan A and Ajmal is allowed to play because it isn’t an international series. He will also play in the last match of the series to be held on December 20th and after that PCB will finalize the dates for his biomechanics Test to be conducted in Chennai.

Ajmal has been included in the 30 probables squad for the ICC World Cup 2015 and if he succeeds in his biomechanics test, Pakistan will be a more confident team going into the main event.

Ajmal has played a total of 111 ODIs and has picked up 183 wickets at a great economy rate of 4.13

Ajmal’s figures after the match:  6-0-23-1
