Bangladesh cricketer Shahadat Hossain along with his wife Nritto Shahadat have been accused for allegedly beating their 11-year-old maid.

As per the reports, the girl who claimed to be working as a maid in cricketer’s house has accused him and his wife of torturing her.

Police officers had raided the house of the pacer on Sunday night, but did not find him, after a girl was found crying with injury marks on a street in the capital Dhaka.

The girl was taken to a Dhaka hospital for treatment. While, Police are still searching for the couple.

29 year old Shahadat Hossain become the first Bangladeshi cricketer to have his name on the honors board at Lord’s when he picked up 5 for 98 in England’s first innings of the first Test at Lord’s in 2010. He has played 38 Test matches picking up 72 wickets at 51.81 apiece.
