Shikhar Dhawan is disappointed with his own performances. He was dropped from the semifinal clash against West Indies. Ajinkya Rahane had replaced him and scored 40. Dhawan who scored only 41 throughout the series and his highest score was 23 against Bangladesh. But Dhawan was not upset as he was dropped from the playing XI instead he said,” I think I have some problem. My performance was not up to my expectations.” But the southpaw is determined to come back strongly in the Indian team, he said, “I want to improve my flaws and want to become as an outstanding cricketer.”
Koi kami mere mein hi hogi, jaisi performance chahta tha waisi hui nahi. Galtiyon ko ab khoobiyon mein badal ke aur acha khiladi banoonga!

Along with Dhawan Indian opener, Rohit Sharma also failed to contribute, except for his 47 run contribution against West Indies in the semifinal.
Indian batting line up was over-dependent on Virat Kohli, the only Indian batsman who scored 273 in this World T20 while other batsmen failed to score even hundred.
Virat Kohli’s three fifty helped India to win matches against Pakistan and Australia, but 47 balls 89 was not enough against West Indies .
India didn’t get a good start from openers so pressure built on the middle order batsmen. In the last match, Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane built a 62 run partnership.
However, Dhawan played an outstanding innings against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup T20 final that helped India to win the Asia Cup for the sixth time.
Dhawan’s brave tweet is appreciated by many.
