The mystery spinner form the Windies took the cricketing world by a storm as not many could pick what he was letting through at the end of the 22 yards in a cricketing field. However he had a problem with his action which is now a thing of the past and he has been cleared and is ready to go this IPL-8.
Sunil Narine who plays for the KKR this season was praised by the veteran Sourav Ganguly in a press conference. Ganguly said that there are a number of outstanding talents to be enjoyed in this season after RR set ablaze the first edition of the IPL.
However, Ganguly felt that out of all the players who have had a great IPL, Sunil Narine stands out. Ganguly added that the impact that the spinner has had in the previous 4 seasons of IPL is remarkable and that he is easily the player of the IPL for the first 7 seasons. Narine who picked 67 wickets from 47 matches for the KKR is an impact player said Ganguly.
He also mentioned the role of the BCCI in the success of the IPL over the course of seven years. Sourav added that the BCCI did wonders with cricket in India and that the IPL had a lot to do with it. He added that setting up a tournament is easy but making it this successful is something BCCI can be proud of.
