South Africa beat Bangladesh by 31 runs in the Second T-20 match at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium at Mirpur, Dhaka just few moments ago. It was a dominating performance by the South African team who played well as a unit.

Chasing a target of 170 Bangladesh innings got off to great start with Tamim Iqbal and Sarkar putting 46 for the first wicket. Tamim got out for 13 runs. Soumya Sarkar played a quick fire knock of 37 runs off 21 balls. After losing his wicket the Bangladesh team lost wickets at regular intervals. The top scorer for Bangladesh was Soumya Sarkar. None of the top batsmen were able to score runs and were dismissed for 138. The pick of bowlers for South Africa were Abbott, Phangsio and Leie picking 3 wickets each.

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat. AB de Villiers and Quniton de Kock got off to a great start taking on the fast bowlers. Both of them put 95 for the first wicket. De Kock scored 44 runs and de Villiers scored 40 runs. The Bangladesh did a great job by taking wickets but Duminy and Rilee Rossouw ensured that South Africa reached a competitive total of 169 for 4. Duminy remained not out on 30 and Rossouw was not on 19 off 6 balls. Nasir Hossain picked 2 wickets, Rahman and Sunny picked 1 wicket each.

With this win South Africa sealed the series 2-0 after winning the first T-20 easily.
