The fourth Ashes Test began today at Trent Bridge under tough swinging conditions. The England skipper Alastair Cook won the toss and without any hesitation he decided to bowl first. With James Anderson left out of the Test match due to a side strain, Stuart Broad was given the role of strike bowler and quite obviously he has to be, with his experience. Mark Wood returned to the side after missing out in the Edgbaston Test.
England bowlers were right on the money from ball one and Stuart Broad was the ultimate destroyer for the Australian side picking up eight wickets for 15 runs and registered his best figures in Test maches.
