During the 5th ODI between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, Taijul Islam , the left arm spinner from bangladesh has picked up a hat-trick on debut . Bangladesh now seems to be a country producing most left arm spinners with many other left arm spinners waiting for a national call up.  This means that Taijul Islam has now become the first player to pick up a hat-trick on debut.

The victims of his hat-trick were SF Mire,T Panyangara and J Nyumbu.

Zimbabwe are already 4-0 down in the series and their ony hope of winning a single game were shattered down by this spell from Taijul Islam. Zimbabwe were once comfortably placed at 102 for the loss of 2 wickets before Taijul Islam turned up for his team and Zimbabwe folded out for just 128 runs, leaving Bangladesh to chase down just 129 runs to complete a clean sweep.

The only resistance in the batting came from Hamilton Masakadza , who scored a fluent 52 runs of 54 balls which included 5 fours and 3 sixes.
