India’s massive diplomatic victory in the Kulbhushan Jadhav death sentence case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has created a lot of buzz over the internet.

Every social media platform is flooded with praise and opinions and many sharp debates over the same were seen. The historic verdict by the ICJ has resulted in jubilation for the family and friends of Jadhav as it was indeed big news and relief for them. The joy stretched all across India and even our cricketers could not hold back and expressed their happiness on social media platforms. Iconic batsmen Mohammad Kaif and Virender Sehwag hailed the judgement on Twitter when it came.

However, some people tried to troll the cricketers to spoil. But both of them smashed the critics with some befitting replies. Sehwag took to Twitter and wrote: “Satyamev Jayate! #KulbhushanJadhav”. He was then following by his former Team India colleague Kaif who tweeted: “Congratulations India. Thanks to the International Court of Justice, justice has prevailed. #KulbhushanJadhav”.

Hitting out at Sehwag’s tweet, a Twitter user replied, “You guys hv less brains? The final decision yet to come and even though icj stays whtever we ll hang him go where ever on ur choic#pak”. However, like always Sehwag, cheekily and yet defiantly replied, “In your dreams ,just like beating India in a World Cup. Kutta Paalo, Billi Paali, galat fahmi mat paalo. #KulbushanJadhav”.

However, it was more tough for Kaif, who received a personal response with a user asking him to remove ‘Mohammad’ from his name. The user wrote, “Please remove Mohammad from your name first !”, wrote the user. But Kaif had an apt reply for the user. He said, “Wow ! If I support India’s victory, I should remove Mohammad. I am proud of my name. Aamir means “full of life”, you need to get one.”

In a tweet, the former Team India player praised the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in Hague for its decision in favour of Jadhav.
