It is a matter of question, whether Umesh will get a chance to bat in the upcoming series? We have to keep an eye on India v South Africa series to know that.
Umesh played total 44 first-class matches for Vidarbha. He accumulated 380 runs with an average of 12.25. Although he played 90 run innings before he notched up his first century today.
However, there is no way to underestimate Umesh’s unbeaten 128 off 119 as it came when Odisha bowlers almost restricted Vidarbha inside 300.
