The second ODI between Australia and New Zealand was played at Westpac Stadium in Wellington. New Zealand batting first scored 281 with the help of 60 from Kane Williamson and Mitchell Santner 45.

When Australia came to chase the target they got a superb start from David Warner and Usman Khawaja as they scored 122 for the first wicket partnership.

But after that innings, Australia lost three quick wickets. No. 7 Matthew Wade scored 60 off 56 to salvaged Australia’s innings. But his innings was cut short by Mitchell Santner when Adam Milne blocked a six jumping in the air and eventually garbed the catch inside the boundary.
