Young Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya made a brilliant save during the 3rd and final T20I between Australia and India at Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday.
It was the 15th over of that innings when Indian spinner Ravindra Jadeja was bowling to Australian left-handed batsman Travis Head. At 14.4 over, Head slogged the ball towards deep-midwicket where Pandya was fielding. Pandya went back as far as he can, but still that was enough tough catch for him. It was looking that the ball would cross the boundary so he just grabbed the ball on air at first and within a moment he dropped the ball outside the boundary while he still on the air. It was a great presence of mind which saved crucial four runs for India.
Later, it proved an important save as India won the match at very last ball. Hardik Pandya’s brilliant effort was fascinated to the whole cricketing world.
