Vijay Hazare Trophy 2016/17: Irfan Pathan To Lead Baroda, Yusuf Pathan Dropped

A day after the snub in the IPL auction, the Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan has been appointed as the skipper of the Baroda side for the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2016/17. Pathan will lead Baroda for the third time running as he led his state side in Ranji Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as well.

Yusuf Pathan has faced an axe as he has not been in best of his form in this season and selectors decided to drop him from the squad, thus making way for a youngster,
