T20 cricket is all set to return to the USA as Pakistan and the West Indies have agreed to play two-match T20I series in Florida in the month of March. The two matches are scheduled to be played on March 25 and 26 at at the Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale.
Last year as well, the BCCI and the WICB took the initiative to flourish the game in U.S. as India and the West Indies played a two-match T20I series in Florida. The event received a positive response as there was a full house in the first game whereas the second game resulted in a wash-out after West Indies’ innings.
However, this series in the USA does not bound the West Indies to play any series in Pakistan as the WICB has already cancelled its plans of touring Pakistan after the FICA report suggested that touring the country is still not a safe option. However, Pakistan will still tour the West Indies to play a complete series from the month of March to May. The series comprises of two T20Is, three ODIs and three T20Is.
