World Cup: Amazing new record of viewership created for India-Pakistan match

Prior to the much awaited encounter of India and Pakistan in the ICC cricket World Cup 2015, many people had posted a message on Facebook saying that India’s win over arch rival Pakistan will be as good as winning the World Cup. A befitted and well defined ‘Mauka’ campaign had gone beyond cricket on the field and aggravated fan passion in a unique way and this ad went viral with over 17 million views online. To ensure that the event gets its due importance, Channel Star engaged the biggest voice in Indian cinema Amitabh Bachchan for India’s biggest game as he debuted as a commentator with the Star Sports panel also contributing their part.

Team India, by virtue of winning this match, have regained their popularity and luck as is evident from their recent scintillating performances. Hope this will continue till we get the trophy once again.
