According to the Chilean Paper La Tercera’s reports, Alexis Sanchez is unhappy at Arsenal due to a lack of support from his team-mates, especially with the club’s record signing Mesut Ozil.

The report suggests that Sanchez, who signed from Barcelona for £32m is “uncomfortable with the level of support” received from his Gunners colleagues.

The report from the Chilean Paper states: “His stay in the British capital has not been so sweet, it has emerged that he is uncomfortable with the little support from his colleagues, especially the German Mesut Ozil, the most expensive player in club history.”

However, the reports seemed to come as a surprise to Sanchez himself as he posted a positive picture of himself as a Gunner on Facebook and twitter.








Sanchez has been very impressive for Arsenal so far this season having scored eight goals in 15 appearences since arriving in North London.

Ozil, who is currently sidelined from the squad recovering from a knee injury and he has been linked with a move away from the Emirates. Bayern Munich and Manchester City have been linked with Ozil, as the report claims he is unhappy with the manager for playing him on the wings rather than his favoured number 10 role.

Arsenal have quality players, but most of the players are either injured or recovering from injuries. The return of Theo Walcott is coming at just the right time, it could be the beginning of a wonderful partnership and hopefully one that will provide Alexis the support he needs. He is unlikely to play with Ozil until the New Year as the German is currently injured.

Sanchez himself has given no indication that he is unhappy at Arsenal. He is destined to be a key player during his Arsenal tenure and will be keen to further establish his effective attacking relationship with Welbeck. Hopefully this frustration can be turned positive and doesn’t turn into problems off-the-field. Because without Sanchez, Arsenal would be a sinking ship.
