Serie A champions Juventus have made fresh approach for Arsenal and Chelsea transfer target midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, however Inter Milan are meanwhile pondering over a possible deal with the Italian champions.
The talented midfielder’s future at Milan outfit has been under the for several weeks, with The Gunners and Chelsea named as his likely next destination before Wednesday’s transfer deadline day.
Inter Milan have announced that they won’t be selling the Croatian midfielder this summer, however that hasn’t prevented one of his other admirers, Juventus, from submitting fresh enquiries for him.
As the Sky Italia reports, Juventus held fresh talks with several agents and brokers with a view to making a fresh offer for the Inter midfielder in the last days of the window.
“It’s true, there are many options and we are talking about some big European clubs,” agent Miroslav Bicanic said to Croatian outlet Index.
“I heard that Chelsea representatives are in Milan and that Arsenal are also prepared to sign him. Inter are pushing to sell to one of these two clubs who are prepared to pay a sum that satisfies all concerned.
“However, I am currently in Zagreb and there’s plenty of time before transfer deadline day. The matter is not so urgent and until Marcelo signs a contract with another club, he remains an Inter player.”
A creative midfielder, Brozovic was a main player for the Milan side last campaign, playing 32 Serie A games and making four goals and four assists.
Serie A side Juventus have also been linked with the midfielder, so it may not be clear sailing for the London clubs to finalise his signing.
