Arsenal takes on Stoke City on Saturday, 12th September in a crucial game week 5 tie at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal who managed to win last game week’s ties against Newcastle United somehow is placed in the fifth position in the league table. A full three points from this home tie would be perfect for Arsene Wenger’s men who will move further ahead in the top of the table and generate a pressure on table-toppers Manchester City.

Arsenal’s performance so far has not been convincing as they lost their opening day fixture against West Ham United and drew against Liverpool. Per Mertesacker is likely to make a comeback into the squad after an injury.

Here is the predicted lineup of Manchester United against Liverpool for the highly anticipated game-

Goalkeeper

Petr Cech will be the goalkeeper for the Gunners for sure as he is in sublime form. Cech played brilliantly against Liverpool and kept the team at bay. None of the other goalkeepers is as good as the former Chelsea man.

Defender

Per Mertesacker is likely to make a comeback in the Arsenal starting lineup after missing two matches due to injury. His pairing up with Laurent Koscielny will be a huge boost to the Gunners whose defense were struggling in the lanky German’s absence. Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal will be the two full-backs

Midfielder

The midfield will remain unchanged. Santi Cazorla will pair up with Francis Coquelin in the central midfield. Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will be upfront as the attacking trio just behind the striker.

Striker

Arsene Wenger will likely field Olivier Giroud ahead of Theo Walcott upfront as Giroud’s physical presence will be utilised against a physical Stoke City side.
