Arsenal sealed an emphatic win over Bayern Munich last night, but the result was marred with injuries to Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez. In his post-match conference, Arsene Wenger gave an update on the duo’s injury concerns and it did not sound good.

Speaking on Sanchez, Wenger said: “You could see he was a bit jaded physically tonight and he still pushes himself so much, but he finished exhausted. The two games with Chile, plus travelling, plus Watford, plus tonight, it is too much.”

Wenger did not say if the Chilean will be out of the weekend’s clash against Everton, but he does need to handle his player with extreme care.

Ramsey’s injury was more of a concern as the player signaled to come off as soon as he felt his hamstring had gone. Wenger said:  “He is alright but very down because he told me that his hamstring is quite a tough one. He is out.”

There was not timeline being put on Ramsey’s injury, but he will surely be out of the game against Everton and potentially even more. It is yet to be seen as how Gunners would cope with these injury absences, especially with Everton and Bayern Munich coming in next few days.
