The 31st of August is a day that most football fans round off on their calendar as it marks the deadline day of the summer transfer window in European football.

Clubs from all over the continent make sure that they get their deals done before the window is shut which has seen a number of rumors make the rounds in a short span of time.

The top Premier League clubs have all been busy trying add some quality and depth and have also looked at letting go of players who do not fit the bill at the club.

However, one player who will not be making a move this summer is Real Madrid starlet Isco.

The 24-year has been a consistent performer for the Champions of Europe for some time now but he has fallen down the pecking order under the new manager Zinedine Zidane.

The French star who took over the Bernabeu last season has favored young Marco Asensio in the pre season and also in the first few games of the domestic league which has left the Spaniard with hardly any game time under his belt for sometime now.

This has seen a number of top clubs in Europe make a move for the 24-year old this summer.

The likes of Arsenal and Chelsea were extensively linked with a move for the exciting attacker but it is now understood that Isco is not ready to leave the Spanish capital this summer.

The Spaniard moved to Real Madrid a few years ago on a £23m move and it was revealed that both Premier League outfits were ready to make a move well in excess of the price.

But it is revealed that Isco is staying put in Madrid.

Speaking to the media in a recent event, Isco erased all the rumors surrounding his exit and revealed that he is happy at Real for another season.

Here is the video of the event:

Isco told reporters ‘I’m staying, I’m staying’ when pressed about the matter, in what will come as a blow for all his suitors this summer.

With just a few hours left for the deadline, interested parties can strike one name off the list this summer.
