Liverpool’s back-up goal-keeper Brad Jones is said to furious with Reds management after the player being told that he won’t be offered a new deal to stay beyond the end of the season, according to reports.

Previous reports suggest that Brendan Rodgers confirmed contract talks earlier but the Liverpool management have taken a U-turn as the player have previously been told that he would have a new contract that would see him for another 12 months as a back up to Simon Mignolet.

It is also believed that the player is furious with the Liverpool management and will leave Liverpool at the end of the season as the Reds are considering a move for Florentina’s goal keeper Neto who will be a free agent at the end of the current season.

Brad Jones has made 25 appearances for the reds in his four years at Anfield. He enjoyed a brief run of first team appearances when Rodgers decide to drop Simon Mignolet during mid season but was injured during the game against Burnley on Boxing day and hasn’t featured since.
