David De Gea’s days at Manchester United are almost numbered as Marca have reported an official £14.4million being submitted by Real Madrid to kick start the biggest transfer saga of the summer.
De Gea has decided to stay mooted on all of this link-ups and has decided to hold a family meeting later next month to decide his next move.
Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has resigned to the fact of De Gea staying at the club as he has previously been quoted saying how he feels De Gea must decide quickly and the Dutchman admitted the strong Real Madrid interest in his player.
De Gea’s move to Real Madrid would make obvious sense to the player and those close to him. It is a well-known fact that De Gea’s girlfriend and family live in Madrid and the player is well loved in the city as well.
De Gea has always carried a fantasy of playing for Real Madrid and he is seen as the ideal man to replace Iker Casillas at Bernabeu. Long-back, current Spain manager Vicente De Bosuqe had earmarked De Gea as the long-term replacement for Casillas and that fact has come true.
Real Madrid want a top quality player to replace Casillas and De Gea seems the idal man. Real Madrid are confident of signing the player next season as well if not this one. De Gea is in his last year of contract thus he will become a free agent next summer if he decides to walk away from Old Trafford.
This is the main reason why Real Madrid have tabled a £14.4million bid for the Spaniard as they are confident of signing the player even on a free transfer next season and wait this time around.
