Sergio Busquest, 26 year old Barcelona midfielder preferred to focus on events at Camp Nou after a dismal few days for Luis Enrique’s men. The Spain international midfielder Sergio Busquets told that Barcelona have had a bad week but refused to be drawn on comparisons with all-conquering Real Madrid.
Barca, who were holding their lead for in top of the table in la liga have dropped from first to fourth in La Liga due to back-to-back defeats to Madrid and, even more surprisingly, to Celta Vigo. In contrast to this event, Madrid, new leaders of la liga, have won 11 consecutive games in all competitions and appear in great form ahead of the return of the Champions League this week.
Barcelona Midfielder Sergio Busquets said: “This has been a bad week with bad results and we need to change it as soon as possible. We need to think about it and we’re going to work hard for the results. One week ago we were the leaders of the competition and now we’re not but the season is long and hopefully we can change that.”
As usual for Barcelona the barometer or the measure for their success or failure is Madrid. However, Busquets, was not willing to go down that avenue of questioning. Real Madrid are strong team and also winning titles, said Busquets. He added “They are having good results but there’s nothing to compare between them and us. We have to worry about ourselves.
As per Besquest Madrid always sign good players who are in the top of the form. They are indeed a great team but they (Barca) are happy with their signings. Busquets has struggled with a hip injury in recent weeks but denied it could be a long-term problem. The 26 year said he is in a good moment and also in a good age and top of all that now he a complete player than when he made his debut. He thinks he have a lot a football left in him. He said that the news of him having a surgery for his injury is a rumor, he had an injury few weeks ago but now he is fine.
