As per the latest reports, Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel would move away from Chelsea this summer as he agreed personal terms with UAE outfit Al Ain. The midfielder is considered surplus to Mourinho’s requirements and the life has been difficult for the player in the last season.

Mikel has made the least number of appearances for Chelsea last season since his arrival in 2006. The Nigerian international have made up his mind about his life at Stamford Bridge and have decided to move away.

However, Al Ain are yet to agree the transfer fee with Chelsea as the player’s agent Babawo Mohammed said: “It is now left for Chelsea and the Dubai club Al Ain to agree on a transfer fee.”

The player was previously linked with Turish giants Fenerbahce but with the interest of Al Ain the Turkish club gave up on the player. Mikel still has two years left in his contract at Chelsea and is a long serving player for the Blues despite not being a regular starter in the team since his arrival back in 2006.
