Chennaiyin FC, Chennai’s ISL team has unveiled their official logo ahead of the inaugural edition of the ISL. Team’s Manager-cum-Player Marco Matarazzi along with the team owner were present in the logo launch. Like the name, the logo too represents a traditional Tamil key element, Drishti, which is a charm widely used across Tamil Nadu. Taking different names and different forms, its popularity spreads from India to as far as Europe. Known as Nazar Battu in Northern India and Nazar Boncuğu in Turkey, this charm wards off negativity and evil spirits, with its extremely powerful essence.
