Chelsea striker Diego Costa has returned to injury ahead of their Premier League match against Queens Park Rangers.

Diego Costa has missed last four games for Chelsea due to hamstring injury. Costa has scored nine goals for Chelsea in seven league appearances. Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Diego Costa and Brazilian midfielder Ramires are both available for the game against Queens Park Rangers.

Mourinho:”Without any further complications, Diego Costa and Ramires will be fit to face QPR at the weekend.

“Normally Ramires and Diego Costa are back. Normally we will have only Remy as an injured player and Azpilicueta suspended.”

Earlier, Mourinho criticized the Spain national team officials for playing Costa against Slovakia and Luxembourg in Euro 2016 qualifiers. The 26-year-old striker was not fully fit to play both games, but he was not rested. Costa returned to London with a hamstring injury and was later in the hospital with a mystery virus, according to reports.

Mourinho:“Costa went to the national team, he played two big matches against Slovakia and Luxembourg, and he came back in conditions where he’s not available to play for his club.

“I don’t lose my time contacting managers from national teams. In the past they used to contact me, but it is never my initiative to contact national team coaches.

“‘I think he’ll be in great condition in mid-November to be back for the national team. That’s for sure.

“Our medical department will take great care of him and in mid-November he will be in perfect conditions. He will play for me when he has free time from the national team.”
