The FA was taken aback with the news of an England International footballer contacting the police for being blackmailed over an eight-second snapchat threesome sex video. So far, no names have been revealed but it is expected to be one of the players involved in recent Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.

According to the Sun, the alleged International footballer was with one of his male friends and obviously a girl and the video was being filmed by player’s friend.

The news has been further reported by Mirror, who contacted the police for a statement and this is what they got: “After threats were made by an individual to publish the clip he straight away contacted the police and later met with officers.

“He was unaware the video was shared to friends over social media — and it certainly wasn’t shared by him. He would have never agreed to having the video shared either.”

It is certainly a matter of concern after the person blackmailing the footballer has already gone ahead and share the video among his friends over social media. For now, we do not have an access over the video, and it is expected to remain that with The FA trying to protect the identity of their player.
