Just as when it looked like that Mesut Ozil has settled to life at Arsenal, news of a possible transfer next summer has once again spread doubts over his immediate future at the Emirates.
According to Eurosport, Juventus are planning an audacious £29million bid for the German International as they begin to fear the prospect of losing either Paul Pogba or Arturo Vidal.
Juventus have held firm over Vidal and Pogba all summer despite interests from all around Europe. Ironically enough, Vidal has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this summer and it only begs us to think whether Arsene Wenger fancies a move for Vidal.
As vague as it might sound, but Mesut Ozil has not been the same player he was with Real Madrid and it would not come as a surprise to me if he is finally shipped after being criticized for not putting in extra efforts during games.
Arsenal fans want to see more from Ozil in big games and there has been a wide spread notion that the German international is good against the lesser teams but when it comes to delivering at the big stages he goes missing.
Arsenal are still in hunt of a dynamic midfield player who can partner Francis Coquelin at the heart of Arsenal’s midfield and there are very few players who excel at that role than the Chilean superstar.
Will a £29million bid be enough to sign Ozil?
Arsenal purchased Ozil for a whopping £50million two summers ago from Real Madrid. Despite his inconsistent form over the last 24 months, his price has not gone that drastically to be made available for £29million.
However, there could be a notion where a fee of £20million could be settled on with Arturo Vidal moving the other way. Arsenal could look for an attacking midfield player instead of Ozil and sure-up their midfield by signing Arturo Vidal.
