The La Decima holders never leave any chance to show their interest in players who excel in the English league.
This time, it’s the Leicester City striker that they’re aiming for. As per Fichajes.net, Real Madrid is behind current Premier League sensation, Jamie Vardy.
Vardy has showed great potential in the Premier League this season by netting 10 goals in 10 games. Vardy was a non league footballer until 2012. He made his appearance for England in 2015.
The 28 year old Sheffield born player often makes key passes in the game. His finishing is clean and contributes in the game defensively, too. His skill of holding onto the ball is impressive.
Vardy’s style of play consists of making crisp crosses and dribbling the ball. However, when it comes to aerial duels and passing, the lad does not seem to be at par.
Madrid is aiming Vardy as a signing to challenge Karim Benzema. The Spanish club believes that Jamie could be a brilliant second striker to Benzema and could put up a tough challenge for a starting spot in the squad.
This move seems very unlikely as Tottenham is also in the race to land up the player at White Hart Lane. Vardy’s current value at his club is approximately £15 million.
A move to Tottenham looks more realistic as Vardy could team up with his England companion, Harry Kane.
