The presidential election of Barcelona is one of the most discussed topics in football world.

The candidates are Josep Maria Bartomeu Floreta and Joan Laporta.

Bartomeu is currently the Barcelona president and the former president Laporta is hopeful of winning the elections and both the parties are trying their best to convince the voters to vote for them.

The elections are going to take place today at Camp Nou from 9 am to 7 pm.

Laporta has a good impression on the Barcelona players and reports suggest that the players are wanting Laporta to win the elections.

Both parties have done their best in the election campaign and promised a lot of things to get the votes among which one promise was form Laporta was that he will take back “UNICEF” as the kit sponsor.

Meanwhile, Spanish media OLE reported that Barcelona star forward Lionel Messi will not stay at the Catalan club if Laporta does not win the elections and he will join Manchester United.

The Theatre of Dreams Old Trafford started dreaming about bringing the 4 time Ballon D’or winner but Sport Witness reported that OLE’s news was fake.


Sport Witness reports that the attempt of OLE was to influence the presidential election of the European Champions.
