Liverpool looked exciting in the draw at White Hart Lane as the team set out by the manager showed dynamism in the middle that helped them stay strong for most of the game.
Jurgen Klopp, who has transformed the Liverpool side by leaps and bounds in the last few months, has managed to accumulate an exciting squad at Anfield as he will hope to stamp his authority on the Premier League this season.
He has made a number of signings this summer and has let a number of players go already which has seen his net spent stay in the negative.
This has given Klopp loads of funds for him to move for any of his top transfer targets before the deadline day a couple of days later.
The German is already pondering over adding a midfielder and possible a left-back to his squad but a recent report suggests otherwise.
According to the Mirror, Liverpool have made an official bid of £30million for Brazilian striker Luan to try and bring him to Anfield this summer.
The 23-year old has been a part of the Gremio side since 2014 and has so far scored 38 goals in 147 league appearances for the club.
He is a pacey striker who fits well into Klopp’s style of play and it is understood that Liverpool have made a big money bid for the striker to try and add to their already string attacking options in the squad.
This news will come as a blow to Daniel Stuirridge who has already fallen down the pecking order at the club.
The likes of Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi and Danny Ings are the other options for Liverpool in a similar position and it will be interesting to see why Klopp wants to add a 5th option to his squd.
Who do you think will leave Liverpool if Luan makes the move to Anfield?
