According to report from AS, Manchester city are firm favorites to sign Real Madrid unsettled star Isco. The Citizens are looking to bring in some high profile names to Etihad for next season and have secured the signing of Reaheem Sterling recently.
The 23-year old is searching for first team football and looking to away from Bernabeu this summer. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is keen to bring the Spaniard to Stamford Bridge but City looks determined to hijack the deal.
The Blues have been slow in their negotiations over a potential transfer and after completing Raheem Sterling’s deal last week, the Citizens have set their sights on Isco and ready to seal a quick transfer for Isco.
Isco has found it difficult to break into first team with the arrival of James Rodriguez as he has fallen behind in the pecking order. Juventus are also reportedly interested to sign the midfielder as Allegri has confessed his admiration for the player earlier.
The Spaniard has moved to Bernabeu for €30 million from Malaga two seasons ago but failed to cement first team position. Isco has made 66 appearences for Los blancos and have scored 12 goals since his move.
Manuel Pellegrini is the key to the deal as he has coached the Spaniard during his spell at Malaga before both of them took different directions in 2013.
