Jose Mourinho has already done some extraordinary business at his new club Manchester United in just three weeks since the transfer window officially opened.

The likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are two of the summer signings that will play a huge role under Mourinho next season but the manager seems to be in search of more players to have a real go at the Premier League title next season.

The manager is still looking at some quality additions mainly to his defense and it is revealed that Italian star defender Leonardo Bonucci is the latest name linked with a move to Old Trafford.

United seem to have completed the signing of French starlet Paul Pogba from Juventus and it is said that the English outfit has also made an enquiry about the availability of the Italian defender for a move this summer.

The 29-year old has been an integral part of the Italian side that won back to back league titles and he also played a huge role in his countries exploits in the EURO16 in France.

With his ability and experience, Bonucci is one of the hottest defenders in Europe at the moment and it is understood that the Serie A outfit have slapped a €60m price tag on his this summer.

The likes of Manchester City and Chelsea are also said to be fighting for his signature and it was revealed that Manchester United are way behind the other clubs in negotiations.

Paul Pogba, if moves to Manchester United will give the Italian side €100 million or more in his transfer fees and this will leave Juventus with no necessity to sell any of their players this summer.

The Manchester United manager has already purchased Eric Bailly from Villarreal a central defender who will have some role to play next season but it is understood that Mourinho is in desperate search of a centre-half who can make the team that much stronger.

Everton’s John Stones, who is also on the radar of Manchester City and Chelsea is reportedly on the radar of the Old Trafford outfit but it was revealed that Bonucci is the preferred option for Mourinho.

At €60, Bonucci, if makes the move, will become the costliest defender in Europe level with PSG’s acquisition of David Luiz from Chelsea a couple of seasons ago.
