Arsenal take on Liverpool on Monday, 24th August in the last match of game week 3. Arsenal have come back strong from an early jolt in the opening match where they had lost 0-2 against West Ham United. In the second match they successfully defeated Crystal Palace thanks to a Olivier Giroud stunner.

Liverpool on the other hand has gone off to super start as they have picked up all six points from the first two games. Though the Reds have a 100% win record, their performance has been below par.

Ahead of the high profile match at Emirates today, Arsenal’s star midfielder Mesut Ozil addressed the media where he revealed that the Gunners have already prepared the blueprint to beat Liverpool tonight.

The Arsenal official website quoted Ozil: “We are at home and we know exactly how we can beat Liverpool. That is what we want to do on Monday.

“I remember that we delivered a really convincing display [in April’s win]. In the first half we decided the game because we had a high level of concentration and wanted to utilise our potential. We want to do that again this time.

“We were highly concentrated. The manager gave us tasks on the pitch and we executed them perfectly. That’s what we will have to do on Monday again.

“We have to believe in ourselves as we have the potential to beat every team and we will show that on Monday.”
